    IS4S not only has significant expertise in end to end communications system design and development, but also in the critical component of success that comes only with field deployment.  Our company founders have over 100 years combined experience in communications system that have been deployed across the globe and in space.  Our heritage includes large and small military programs as well as incremental growth commercial systems.  We have designed, built and deployed line of site, beyond line of sight and satellite systems in traditional and very non-traditional configurations including small footprint and low power consumption systems for utility power management, micro-turbine component communication and in-vehicle Controller Area Network (CAN) architectures.     Our experience includes system designs including military and commercial radios and modems, as well as point-to-point and point-to-multipoint satellite systems on and off vehicle platforms.  We are well versed in classified and unclassified encryption technology and have direct experience with appropriate levels of encryption hardware and firmware.  Equally important in comprehensive system success is command and control software.  We have experience in developing software  interfaces for a variety of military and commercial radios that function in a real-world operational environment.
